


Dr. Elizabeth Young, a native of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, received
her Bachelor's degree in Zoology in 1992 from the University
of Wisconsin--Madison. She then went on to attend the
University of Wisconsin's School of Veterinary Medicine and
received her DVM degree in 1997. While in veterinary school she
had a special interest in exotic and wild animal medicine, and
did externships at the Bronx Zoo, the National Wildlife Health
Center and the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease
Study.
After graduation, Dr. Young took a position at the Skyline
Animal Clinic in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She established herself as
a small animal and exotics practitioner and also worked as a
consulting veterinarian for the AZA accredited Tautphaus Park
Zoo. After 11 years in Idaho, she has moved back to
Wisconsin to be closer to her family and friends.
While away from the office Dr. Young enjoys hiking,
snowboarding and running with her dog, Willow. She also
practices Yoga and is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200
hour level with Yoga Alliance.
