Dr. David S. Rosene is the owner and founder of the
Shorewood Animal Hospital. He is a 1984 graduate of the
Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Rosene
also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and
Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and a
Master of Philosophy degree in Anthropology from Yale
University. His special areas of interest include internal
medicine, surgery and animal behavior. Dr. Rosene also
enjoys speaking to school groups and participating in special
interest and career days at area schools.
Dr. Rosene is married with two children. His wife, Julie Sattler Rosene, is an adjunct lecturer in the Diederich College of
Communication at Marquette University as well as a
co-founder of the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum. His older
daughter, Emily, is a medical student at Tufts University,
and his younger daughter, Erin, is a student at Washington
University in St. Louis majoring in Romance Languages and
Education. While away from the office, Dr. Rosene enjoys
spending time with his family, going to the movies, water
skiing and playing soccer. His family also includes two Golden
Retrievers, Charlie and Rosie.
